The Worst Tragedy

††††††††††† If you had one weekís foreknowledge of the imminent attack on the WTC, what would you have done? I am sure you would have zealously warned everyone you could from certain doom. You would have called the Pentagon, the FBI, the CIA and the police and fire stations. You would called the WTC and warned them of the coming danger.

††††††††††† But, what if people didnít believe you and resented your calls, or believed you to be some kind of whacko? Would you allow your hurt feelings and fear of rejection stop you from warning as many people as you could? I think not.

††††††††††† It is terrible beyond words the physical human loss to flame and collapse at the WTC. They had no one to warn them of the coming attack and certain destruction. But in my mind eternal spiritual loss of suffering in a burning, tormenting hell is a far worse fate. There can be no comparison when eternity is brought into the light. Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost. As Christians, His passion must be our passion. God isnít willing any should perish. We are to tell the good news of God to the lost that they may be warned of the coming destruction. They may mock, laugh, and reject, but they must be told. Come alive church and shine! Think about it.

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shall surely die; and you do not give warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand. Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you hast delivered thy soul.Ezekiel 3:18-19
