Class Descriptions

Jewelry Making

The class will consist of the basics of jewelry making starting with 2 pair of earrings the first hour, one bracelet the second hour and the last hour a more advanced bracelet using beads and jewelry making tools. These skills are the basis to all jewelry making.

Cake Design

I will bring a 6" cake for each student along with a box to take it home in. They will learn to frost the cake, make fondant roses, and a variety of piping techniques. And yes, rotational with the same info each hour.

Clay Sculpting

This class is designed to give a basic introduction to clay sculpting and includes the completion of your own, personalized clay piece that the instructor will choose with the student’s customization. The steps to complete a piece are: designing and sculpting your piece, hardening your creation, which your instructor will do for you with the provided equipment, painting your piece, and glazing your creation for the best finished product and added lifetime to the creation.

Drama /Acting

An introduction to basic dramatic techniques to include improvisation, story telling, dramatic reading, pantomime, and group interactions.


Each hour a different style will be presented. The classes will feature basic instruction in lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop dance technique.

Music Signing

See words flow from your fingers in one of the world’s most beautiful languages as you learn to "sing" in Sign. Learn how to express the heart of music in a whole new way. In this one-session workshop, you will learn some basic Sign principles, cover fingerspelling with a color handout, then learn how to interpret a contemporary song in Sign.


Basic principles of chord progressions, strumming patterns, and notes.


Free-form carpentry class. With the assistance of three instructors, students will make a woodworking project of their choosing. Options include birdhouse, tool box, picture frame, or something of their own choosing, Want to highlight the opportunity of using wood harvested from pallets.
